Adobe first launched PDF Transit around October 31, 2001.

One can move our printing equipment into their office using Adobe PDF JobReady. One may now create a report, preview it on any PC, & making a purchase. It’s very easy.

There will be no more misplaced documents or fonts. There will be no more transferring of artwork onto CDs for us to grab at the office.

Download Procedure:

You should first download the latest PDF JobReady program until you can use it:

  1. To operate the PDF JobReady program, you’ll need these.
  2. Go to www.byronadams.com to get the JobReady PDF software. Just save the file to your computer’s desktop (It’s a 12MB file).
  3. We advise restarting your system before installing to ensure a smooth install process. After rebooting, go to the PDFJobReady icon & run the program by following the displayed steps. The install period is determined by the speed of your machine. You may click Settings because the presets will work on any of the computer systems.

Your PC system now has the JobReady PDF application installed and is ready to develop PDF documents:

  1. Utilize a tool or software you’re familiar with to generate your reports (ie, Microsoft Word, etc.).
  2. Ensure you have a working internet connection before “printing” the file. This process necessitates the use of the internet.
  3. Choose the print button when the file is ready. A link marked “Send to xyz.com” would display in your printer’s menu. This is a special URL designed as part of the install process. Click “Print” after selecting this “printer.” This launches PDF JobReady.
  4. You’ll see a glimpse of the PDF file. Press OK when you’re OK with the preview.

(Alternatively, click Cancel & return to the document to make some editing.)

  1. When you’ve concluded entering this information, select Submit Now, & the PDF will be emailed to your destination.

Setup Adobe PDF JobReady on your PC & you may print straight to their page from every program.
