Even though I got an early copy of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora Ultimate Edition Cracked last week, playing it before it officially comes out has been a bit of a struggle. There were lots of problems like the game crashing, not running well, and weird issues with the menu that made it hard to play. For example, there was a button that wouldn’t work unless you have deleted and reinstalled the game.
Still, the players can manage to play for about twelve hours in the Western Frontier of Pandora. Gamers have some complaints about how the game runs and how Ubisoft portrayed the Avatar but, the gamers are hopeful that this might turn out to be the best Far Cry game Ubisoft has ever made.
Exploring Pandora is a different experience in the game. The simple menu and focus on exploring are a nice change from how Ubisoft usually makes open-world games.
When you use the Na’vi senses (like detective vision), markers show up to guide you, making my time on Pandora mostly calm, with some exciting fights now and then.
You have a mix of Na’vi and human weapons, like longbows, big heavy longbows, lacrosse sticks that throw grenades and traps, and also assault rifles and shotguns. It’s cool to have a variety of weapons for different situations. Remember the big robot suits from the first movie?

Most of the enemies you face on Pandora are like that. They’re not too tough on their own, but dealing with two at once made me think more about how to fight strategically.
There was a cool part in the beginning where the players have to deal with five robot suits. It felt like playing Doom Eternal, quickly switching between weapons.
I threw grenades to knock them off balance, shot arrows to break their windows, and used my assault rifle to take down the pilots. It was the best part of my time playing the game, dodging their heavy gunfire.
The Na’vi characters in the game have some cool abilities that change how Far Cry usually works. The best one is a sprint and double jump that works well in Pandora’s unique environment.
Moving around Pandora is really fun—sprinting super-fast through the forest and jumping across the twisted tree roots that link the thick jungle to the open plateaus.
The places you go in the game look amazing. The colors are like a mix of “Ecco the Dolphin” and the sci-fi style from “Starship Troopers,” all taken from the Avatar movie. The sky views are especially stunning, maybe the best I’ve ever seen in a game.
The start of Frontiers of Pandora has not impressed me, especially the first part of the story. The writing feels awkward and out of touch. At the human resistance base, your Na’vi character has to listen to a lot of silly talk—people keep making insensitive comments about the differences between humans and Na’vi, and you can’t respond.
The worst part is when the game drops a really heavy term, calling the Na’vi ambassador program a “Residential School” like a nuclear-level reference. This label is not right, and the game doesn’t show the real harm and abuse that happened in those “schools.” It’s not respectful and seems irresponsible.
Talking about cultural issues and problems in Avatar is important. Just so you know, I’m Indigenous and have been a big fan of these movies since the first one in 2007.
However, the dialogue in Frontiers of Pandora is not good—it’s awkward and tries too hard to be funny. This doesn’t match the tone of the movies. Also, the constant use of jokes takes away from showing the interesting parts of both human and Na’vi cultures.
